This last August, I became a first-time homeowner, and while I love that new role and the beautiful home that came with it, there are of course things I wish I could snap my fingers and change—like my pantry.

The pantry cabinets are narrow yet deep and the shelves are mostly above my line of sight which makes it difficult to keep my pantry staples organized. The shelves are also at awkward heights, adding to the ongoing struggle of organization. Over the last six months the clutter has stacked up, overwhelming me each time I open the cabinet doors to grab something. I needed some serious help. Enter the line of Better Homes & Gardens storage containers to save the day.

I knew I would need a variety of different sizes for all the dry goods I want to sort (rice, cereal, every type of flour imaginable, sugar, pasta, nuts, etc.), so I opted for both the Flip Tite Rectangular Pack of 3 and the Flip Tite Square Pack of 4. The Flip Tite lid gave me peace of mind that my pantry items would stay fresh. Once I unboxed and washed the containers, I got to work on my mess of a pantry.

As I sorted through all of my half-gone, half-opened bags of dry goods, I appreciated the size variation of the storage containers. Ranging from a 4 cup to a 19 cup capacity, all of my items had a place to be stored without wasting space. As I filled each container, I was able to stack it on the previous one. All I could think was, "Who knew I had this much room in here!" The clear containers allow me to finally see everything I own without getting a chair to stand on to see the back of the pantry. There's now ample space to display (and reach for) all of my pantry essentials.

I added a Natural Cane Weave Basket to contain some of the small and loose items, and voila! An organized pantry that's just functional as it is aesthetically pleasing. A project that I had been dreading and thought would take me hours to complete, only took me about 30 minutes from start to finish, thanks to the ease and simplicity of these storage containers.

When it comes time to inevitability refresh my pantry staples, the Flip Tite storage containers are dishwasher safe and easy to refill.

However, the best part for me is the affordability of these storage containers. The rectangular set is $22, and the square set only $30. I feel so much relief every time I reach into my newly-organized pantry. Don't miss out on these products if you're needing a little organization help yourself.
